GABRIELA Network is a Philippine-US women's solidarity mass organization. GABNet provides the means by which Filipinas in the US can empower themselves, functions as training ground for women's leadership, and articulates the women's point of view. GABNet effects change through organizing, educating, fundraising, networking, and advocacy.
GABNET'S WISHLIST

  • Office space so we can have a library and resource center open to all (how fabulous it would be to have a Philippine-US women's resource center!)

  • Copy machine so we can make fast copies of educational materials for students, our membership, and the general public (it would be nice not to have to trek to a copy place just to make 1 copy of a 1-page document)

  • Fax machine

  • Dreamweaver website design program to help our web designer, who at the moment is maintaining our website in a very primitive, inefficient way (remember those HTML codes?)

  • Macromedia Flash website enhancement program to make this website you're browsing now livelier

  • Digital camcorder to document our actions, events for educational purposes

  • LCD/DLP projector to help us give powerful visual presentations for public and youth education

If you have any of the above, or if you know of anyone who has any of the above, please contact Dorotea at secgen@gabnet.org or 1.212.592.3507. Maraming salamat/Thank you very much.
