Dear Ambassador Kenney,

As you are maybe aware due to recent media coverage of our delegation, we are a group of women lawyers here to investigate extra-judicial killings and the repression of political activists in the Philippines.

We understand from your statement that you are also concerned about these unsolved killings.

We would very much like to meet with you to discuss our mutual concerns as Americans and formulate steps that can be taken to ensure that these killings are appropriately investigated.

We look forward to meeting you at your convenience through 31 May 2006.
