Join the Friends of GABNet. What does being a Friend mean?

  • Friends of GABNet is meant for those who can not, for one reason or another, become a member; for our male allies; for those without a GABNet chapter in their area.

  • A Friend must pay annual dues--sliding scale: $25, $50, $100.

  • A Friend receives special discounts on events, complimentary copy of kaWOMENan quarterly news, action and news alerts.

  • A Friend is invited to special activities--educational discussions, socials, etc.--reserved for Friends of GABNet.

  • A Friend have these simple, but important, tasks:

    1. spreads the word about GABNet activities by forwarding announcements to his/her own network of friends and colleagues via email and/or phone and/or postal mail;

    2. attends GABNet activities and actions;

    3. keeps an ear on the ground and an eye out for anything pertinent to GABNet and our campaigns. Lets us know of any fundraising opportunities, organizing opportunities, news, forums, government policies, etc. that are relevant to our work;

    4. volunteers his/her skills whenever possible.
