Here are the rules governing the establishment of GABNet chapters

  1. Women may initiate chapter-building by informing GABNet National Executive Committee of their intention to do so.;

  2. At least three women should comprise the organizing initiative;

  3. They should undergo a two to three day orientation workshop with one national officer of GABNet;

  4. During this two to three day orientation, they will draw up a six-month plan, with emphasis on recruitment and one issue they can focus on in their territory;

  5. They should hold at least one public event during this period;

  6. At the end of six months, the chapter is evaluated for self-relliance and sustainability.
