*SM stands for Solidarity Market. The name is also a symbolic protest against SM (Shoe Mart), the largest retail store in the Philippines, and its long-standing anti-worker (almost 100% of whom are women) policies. Philippine items in our Women's Solidarity Market are bought from GABRIELA Philippines and its allied organizations that produce income generating products to fund their community work. YOUR purchase will support women's work in both the US and the Philippines.We're working on getting our palengke (store) stuff photographed. Please check back in a week or so (around May 25, 2006).
