"We strongly condemn this rampage of killings that has taken down Sotero Llamas as its latest victim. That the killings persist with impunity is a testament of the Arroyo government's inutile stance, if not its concurrence with what is happening right now."
Thus said Gabriela Women's Partylist Representative Liza Largoza Maza, as she condemned the recent killing of Sotero Llamas. "Whose death squads are operating? It is only Mrs.Arroyo and her government that stands to benefit from the deaths of its critics."
Maza also said that with the disappearance of Philip Limjoco and the recent death of Sotero Llamas, both charged by Philippine National Police and the Department of Justice as alleged conspirators to a rebellion along with Maza and other progressive solons, "it seems that the PNP-DOJ charge sheet is more that just a charge sheet. It is a death list." #
