THE PURPLE ROSE CAMPAIGN
Against Trafficking of Filipino Women and Children

HOW TO JOIN THE PURPLE ROSE CAMPAIGN

  • Bring the issue to the attention of your friends, family and co-workers. Create occasions such as forums, lecture, etc., where this issue can be discussed.

  • Ask people you know to sign a pledge card and to wear the rose.

  • If you come upon a woman of Philippine origins who is in the sex trade or is a mail-order bride, give her our contact number and address. Or arrange for us to meet with her confidentially. Contact our secretary general Dorotea: secgen@gabnet.org, (212) 592-3507.

  • Join our research project into the sex trade and the mail-order bride system, especially if you live close to a military base or training camp. Email or call Dorotea for more info: secgen@gabnet.org, (212) 592-3507.

  • Be a GABNet woman and empower yourself.
